Africa Express Line Ltd (AEL) is a British registered shipping company located in Kent. From this location, AEL operates a fleet of nine very modern specialist reefer vessels on a number of dedicated weekly liner services to and from Europe/Mediterranean and West Africa. AEL specialises in the handling and transportation of perishable fresh fruit cargoes. It also caters for time-sensitive cargoes, either on deck, under deck or in a container.
CalMac Ferries Ltd (CFL) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of David MacBrayne Ltd, which is wholly owned by Scottish Ministers. Previously operating as Caledonian MacBrayne Ltd, CalMac was created in October 2006 to bid for the Scottish Government contract to operate Clyde & Hebrides Ferry Services, which it subsequently won. CalMac Ferries Ltd is the UK’s largest ferry operator in terms of ships (32) and destinations served (27) and one of the largest transport operators in Scotland.
Clyde Marine Training Trust was formed in 1998 with the aim of providing sponsorships for young people interested and motivated to become deck or engineer officers in the Merchant Navy but who may not otherwise have the opportunity to enter the industry through a shipping company due to a lack of opportunities.

CSL Europe manages CSL’s European operations with a fleet of three conveyor-belt self-unloaders and one self-unloader with sub-sea rock installation technology, which is used in the offshore sector. These vessels carry a wide range of bulk cargo for the mineral, energy and chemical sectors.
