STCW Refresher Training Route 1 (block)
Seafarers must be able to provide evidence of having previously completed their basic training or equivalent. SHould you have any questions as to the validity of your certification please do not hesitate to contact us.
The STCW Convention has been amended by the 2010 Manila Amendments which contains new training requirements. Seafarers are required to provide evidence of having maintained the required standard of competence every 5 years in order to undertake their tasks, duties and responsibilities regarding emergency, occupational safety and survival functions.
If you are serving onboard a ship and are qualified in any of the following you are required as of the 1st January 2017 to have documentary evidence of either completing the training course or updating training within the last 5 years
This course enables all seafarers who can complete the necessary self certification paperwork to complete Route 1 of the required Refresher training over a 4 day block.
This course will include;
Updated Proficiency in Personal Survival Techniques
Updated Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats
Updated Proficiency in Fire Fighting and Fire Prevention
Updated Proficiency in Advanced Fire Fighting
